"Our firm moved offices in April 2006 to brand new state of the art open plan offices after over 60 years in a very old traditional office building. We took this unique opportunity to radically change our filing & storage systems to fit our new surroundings and modern staff layout. These changes were both a challenge to our staff, who no longer had access to all of their files in their private offices, and our project team to ensure a seamless move without upsetting our day to day business. We also had to reference and store off site nearly 4,000 bankers boxes of old files which accumulated in our vaults over many years!

We engaged Fileworks at an early stage who took a direct hands on responsibility with us for managing all aspects of the changeover to the new filing systems , the physical move itself and smoothing out all post move and numerous hitches ( including the inevitable few missing files ) arising following the move . All of these were thankfully sorted out very quickly and in fact there was minimal disruption to our solicitors and business overall.
